Manage Asset Groups

Assets and Asset Groups are logical representations of the data collected from devices.

Asset Groups are collections of Assets belonging to the same category. For example, Asset Group "Buildings" is a collection of "Building" Assets managed by the administrator. New Asset groups can be created and existing ones can be modified and deleted by a System Administrator.

To manage your Asset Groups, select Asset Groups from the Platform Management menu.

Adding a new Asset Group#

You can add an Asset Group by selecting the New Asset Group option on the Asset Group Management menu.

Editing an Asset Group#

You can edit an Asset Group by selecting the Edit option on that Asset Group.

Managing Asset Group Assets#

You can manage the Assets of each Asset Group from the Asset Management Menu.

Deleting an Asset Group#

You can delete an Asset Group by selecting the Delete option on that Asset Group. Deletion requires confirmation.
